GEAR UP
GEAR UP is a federal grant program that assists low-income students with tutoring and mentoring services and takes them on college campus tour trips. GEAR UP staff encourages students to increase their GPA, graduate from high school and move onto higher education by aiding in the college admissions process and mentoring them through their first year of college.

San Juan Foundation Childcare Center
San Juan Foundation Childcare Center is located in Montezuma Creek, Utah. This great facility can provide the community the best childcare for children aging 0 to 5 years of age.

Nations of the Four Corners
Village sites for the Paiute, Ute, Navajo, Hispanics and Pioneers have been built on a beautiful trail system around the San Juan Foundation Office. These villages are used to teach about the different groups that have inhabited the area. They are open to schools field trips, the general public and tourists all-free of charge.

Halchita Community Center
Halchita, Utah, a small, community with no local jobs, where every working adult travels a great distance for employment. Children are often left alone until late in the evening, and the community lacks safe spaces for learning and support.
Thanks to the efforts of the SJ Foundation and the support of Utah Rotary Clubs, an old building was transformed into the Halchita Community Center which offers a small library, food bank, and a computer lab. An afterschool program gives students a place to learn and connect. The community center is filling a critical need—but it needs your help to keep going. With your support, we can keep the programs thriving.
